Educating Underpriviledged Children
A person’s education lays the foundation for the quality of life he will be able to live. So the issue of greater immediate concern for any society is proper education for its people. It is through the kind of education that the future of the global community shall to a large extent be determined. There are many poor and needy children, mainly in Asia and Africa, who are able, talented enough to excel in their education, thus improving their personal, family and community livelihood. However their financial circumstances do not allow this to happen. Many of these children are forced into child labor. SKWF is sponsoring the education of some of these children locally. We would welcome financial contributions and assistance for this cause.
Helping Homeless, Single Moms & Children without Parents
The most vulnerable people in poorer societies include numerous adults such as widows and elderly. Single Moms and children who have no parents as a result of some natural/man-made calamities. Helpless child’s of today are the potential leaders of tomorrow and we need to invest in them to produce an all-inclusive forward thinking society.
Welfare Programs
Basic Needs Provision is the divine right of all human beings irrespective of gender, race, religion or location. Mankind acting as trustees of the world’s resources has a duty to ensure that all citizens are provided with food, shelter, clothing, education, health and basic sanitation. To cope up with the growing needs, SKWF moves forward and acts in collaboration with existing agencies, organizations and motivated individuals to accomplish as much as possible.
Providing Humanitarian Aid
It is the responsibility of states and society to manage and look after the affairs related with the welfare of their people according to their needs in a principled manner. However, in situations, especially in underdeveloped countries where governments alone are unable to support for basic needs provision like food, shelter, clothing, education and medical care e, then organizations like SKWF have to play their role. There are many natural and man-created disasters e.g. earthquakes, floods, war, disputes, famine, whereby the poor and needy require urgent help.
